Ibrahim Ismayilov, NP, MHA, RP

Nurse Practitioner | Registered Psychotherapist

Ibrahim Ismayilov is a Nurse Practitioner and Registered Psychotherapist based in Ottawa, Ontario. He is the founder and clinical director of Crocus Care Solutions, a multidisciplinary mental health clinic dedicated to providing thoughtful, evidence-based care.

Ibrahim brings a unique combination of medical and psychotherapy training to his work. As both a Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner and Registered Psychotherapist, he is able to assess the medical, psychological, and functional aspects of mental health conditions, helping clients receive comprehensive and well-integrated care.

His clinical work focuses on the assessment and treatment of depression, anxiety, trauma-related conditions, and stress-related difficulties. He also conducts mental health and neurodevelopmental assessments, including evaluations for conditions such as Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Many of the clients seen at Crocus Care have experienced complex life challenges, including displacement, immigration stress, family trauma, and major life transitions. Ibrahim approaches this work with a strong emphasis on careful clinical assessment, cultural sensitivity, and practical support.

Before founding Crocus Care Solutions, Ibrahim worked as a psychiatric nurse at Southlake Regional Health Centre. In that role, he provided care across adult inpatient psychiatry, child and adolescent mental health services, and psychiatric emergency settings. This experience shaped his practical and compassionate approach to mental health care.

At Crocus Care, Ibrahim provides mental health assessments, psychotherapy, and clinical consultations. He also supervises a team of therapists and works closely with other professionals to ensure clients receive coordinated and high-quality care.

He has completed advanced training in trauma-focused therapies, including Cognitive Processing Therapy and Prolonged Exposure Therapy. He has also completed specialized training in autism assessment through the ECHO Autism program at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital.

His approach to care is grounded in careful clinical reasoning, respect for each individual’s story, and a commitment to helping clients regain stability, clarity, and confidence in their lives.
